Case 01

Realstar

From one Christmas-period EICR programme to a multi-site, multi-service compliance partner.

The opening brief

We began working with Realstar at one of their student accommodation sites. There were over 200 units in the property, each of which required a separate EICR.

Every unit was tenanted. To cause minimal disruption, we completed the tests over the Christmas period when the majority of tenants were off-site.

How we ran it

A programme of works was agreed with the on-site management team, and our engineers got to work — sequencing units, coordinating access, and turning around certificates as the programme progressed.

What happened next

Following the successful completion of the programme, Let Safe was quickly introduced to other Realstar sites. We have since completed several compliance and planned preventative maintenance services across the portfolio.

Case 02

Dexters

From contractor-selection trial in one regional hub to the named compliance partner for every property management hub.

The selection process

After completing Dexters’ contractor selection process, we were introduced to their South East hub for a trial period.

We met with their property management team to understand the main issues they faced, and began work on resolving the established pain points.

What that work looked like

Two themes ran through everything we did in that opening period: speed and transparency. We focused on the things property managers told us mattered most — turning reports and quotes around fast enough that move-ins weren’t held up, and surfacing problems early enough to be escalated rather than missed.

How we scaled

After establishing ourselves as a reliable contractor who could handle the workload and respond to emergency requests, Let Safe was introduced to other hubs.

We now work with all property management hubs within Dexters and continue to engage on a regular basis with each property manager to ensure we are providing a consistent level of service and value for their team.
